2025 Corporate Cup Rules
1. Each corporate cup entry must list the company name as the team name.
2. A minimum of four riders per team entry.
3. Each entry can have up to eight riders per team.
4. Each team can consist of both male and female entries.
5. Riders will compete in the B Route Pedal Only and group start with all other B route pedal riders.
6. If you sign up in the corporate entry you are no longer eligible to compete for individual awards.
The lowest combined average score will win the 2025 corporate cup and trophy.No pedal assist bikes allowed in this category!
All other applicable race rules are the same where applicable.
2025 Climb For The Cure Bike Race Rules
1 - Please remember that this is a fun fundraising event, and we will do our best to ensure everyone follows the same rules. If there are any disputes, we will do our best to resolve them as best we can.
2 - There will be four rider classes and four starts: A - Route (50.5-mile route) pedal only with three separate age group categories. A - Route (50.5-mile route) pedal assists open class, all ages starting at age 14 and up. B - Route (22-mile route) pedal-only open class, all ages 14 yrs and up. B - Route (22-mile route) pedal assist open class, all age groups starting at age 14 and up. All A - Route pedal-only riders, all ages male and female, will start together. All A-Route pedal assist riders, male and female, will start together. All B-Route pedal-only riders, all ages male and female, will start together. All B-Route pedal assist riders, all ages male and female, will start together. All classes will be timed electronically and start by crossing a timing pad outside Big Barn Brewery. Upon your ride returning to Big Barn, you will be crossing a finish timing pad.Pedal assist bikes are allowed to be class 1e-bikes only (maximum assist up to 20 mph). No class 2 or 3 e-bikes are allowed. Please look up online for further clarification on what each e-bike class is.For those riders in A - Route pedal only, you will be riding in age categories: 14 yrs to 45 yrs, 46 yrs to 60, and 61 yrs and up. This is typical for males and females.All pedal-only riders in B-Route will be in an open class of 14 yrs and up.All pedal assist riders in A and B - Routes you will be riding in an open class ages 14 and up.When signing up, you must declare what category (male/ female, age category, pedal only, or pedal assist) you will be racing/riding in and which route you will be racing/riding in.
3 - Actual start times will be posted on our website within the next several months, so please keep checking our website for updates.
4 - This is strictly a self-supported bike race/ride. Absolutely no outside help is allowed. We suggest you carry spare tubes, tools, water, etc. on your bike—absolutely no sag wagon help or assistance. We will have race marshals monitoring this. Bike mechanics will be available before the race starts.
5 - Each rider needs to check the weather forecast in the morning and wear or bring clothes based on the day's forecast. Wearing a backpack with spare clothes is advised. Since we are not riding to the top of Mt. Spokane this year, weather conditions should be better even if we have a moist day.
6 - This is a FOLLOW THE RULES OF THE ROAD RIDE so all riders must stay to the right of the road in SINGLE FILE. Race marshals will be monitoring this requirement.
7 - Strict bike drafting is not allowed, but you may ride with fellow riders together if you are not blocking other riders from passing you.
8 - There will be traffic flaggers at E Big Meadows and N Hardesty Rd intersection for A - Route riders. Flaggers will do their best to give you the right of way. You must adhere to the road flaggers' request to wait for traffic if told to. This requirement is for your safety.There will also be traffic flaggers at E Elk-Chattaroy Rd and N Bruce Rd. for A-Route riders.
9 - A - Route riders will enter onto N Elk-Chattaroy (paved) from E Dunn Rd. (gravel) so extreme caution is required here. We will have this location marked with signs to make drivers aware of bicyclists on the road. After approximately 1 mile, you will be crossing N Elk-Chattaroy Rd. onto E Deer Creek Rd. Extreme caution is required here also since you will be crossing traffic. We will have warning signs for drivers.
10 - All riders will be furnished with a bike number, which will be in your SWAG bag, with a chip in it to activate the start and finish electronic pad. This bike number must be attached to the wide-open front of your handlebars. No wrapping your number around your bike stem. The chip will not read properly, and your time will not be accurate.
11 - You will also be furnished a corresponding bib number to wear on your jersey to keep bikes and riders together. You will also need this number to receive food, drink, and raffle items and check your bike in and out of the corral.
12 - There will be route signage to direct you, and you must follow these signs to govern your route over apps.
13 - You must be present to receive your prize money or raffle item.
14 - Some areas of your route may not have cell service, so don’t assume you will get help with your phone. Our race marshals and water stop people will have satellite phones to assist you.
15 - This race/ride will rain or shine, and no refunds will be provided for any reason. Please consider this a fundraiser, and your entry money will go to a worthy cause even if you cannot attend.
Race Payouts: Age category racing/riding, pedal only, A - Route Riders. Each age group, male or female, will receive the following:
1st place $500
2nd place $300
3rd place $200
4th place $100.
The overall fastest-timed rider, male or female, will win an additional $700 and will be crowned “King of the Mountain” or Queen of the Mountain” 2025.
All pedal assist riders A - Route, open class, will receive the following:
1st place $400
2nd place $300
3rd place $200
All pedal-only B-Route, open class, will receive the following:
1st place $300
2nd place $200
3rd place $100
All pedal assist riders B - Route, open class, will receive the following:
1st place $200
2nd $100
3rd $75

The official chip time is the only official time for the race.
Absolutely no outside help is allowed. No sag-wagons. Pack your own gear. Race Day Marshalls will be monitoring the route.
Racers can expect at least two water stops equipped with port-a-potties along the route. In addition to the start & finish lines.
Any human powered (non-motorized) bicycle can be raced. The route is about 50% rough gravel & 50% pavement.
Join us for beer & pizza and gear! Winners & prizes will be announced following the race at Selkirk Lodge.
Much of the route is shared and cyclists must abide by the rules of the road where applicable.
Riders have the option to take a shuttle with their bikes back to the starting line. Let us know when you register if you'll be using the shuttle.
